USER AGREEMENT
Welcome to the website (“Site”) for Clear Light College Success, Inc. (“Clear Light College Success”, “CLCS”). This User Agreement, including our Privacy Policy, governs your use of the Site and the Clear Light College Success products and services.
Please read this User Agreement carefully because this is a binding agreement. By visiting or using the Clear Light College Success Site or the Clear Light College Success products, services and resources, you agree to follow the Clear Light College Success rules and terms of use. From time to time we may modify these rules and terms of use. We will provide notice of any significant change by posting a notice on our home page. Your continued use of the Site and the Clear Light College Success products and services after any modification indicates your agreement to the new rules and terms of use.

CLEAR LIGHT COLLEGE SUCCESS, is a trademark owned by Clear Light College Success, Inc. (“The Trademark”). You may not use the Trademark in connection with any product or service that does not belong to us, or in any manner that is likely to cause confusion among users about whether we are the source, sponsor, or endorser of the product or service, or in any manner that disparages or discredits us.
LINKS, FRAMES, AND METATAGS
You may link to the home page of the Site as long as the link does not cast us in a false or misleading light, provided, that we reserve the ability at our sole discretion to revoke your right to link to the home page of the Site. You may not frame the content of the Site. You may not use metatags or any other “hidden text” that incorporates the Trademark or our name without our express written consent.
LINKS TO OTHER WEBSITES
This Site may contain links to other websites, including sites for companies associated with Clear Light College Success. This User Agreement and the Privacy Policy do not apply to these other websites. Be sure to read the user agreements and privacy policies that govern your use of these other websites.
TRUTHFUL DISCLOSURE
You represent that you will complete all requested information in the Clear Light College Success products and services truthfully to the best of your knowledge.
RESPONSIBLE PARTY
Minors may not purchase any program offered by Clear Light College Success. A responsible party for the minor must be the purchaser of the program. By clicking the “I Agree to the Terms of Service”, the purchaser acknowledges that they are NOT a minor and are able to enter into a binding contract.
DISCLAIMER AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
THIS SITE AND THE INFORMATION, CONTENTS, GRAPHICS, DOCUMENTS AND OTHER ELEMENTS INCLUDED HEREIN (COLLECTIVELY THE “CONTENTS”) ARE PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” BASIS WITH ALL FAULTS AND WITHOUT ANY WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. CLEAR LIGHT COLLEGE SUCCESS DOES NOT GUARANTEE ADMISSION INTO ANY SCHOOL, COLLEGE, UNIVERSITY OR SIMILAR PROGRAM. CLEAR LIGHT COLLEGE SUCCESS DOES NOT GUARANTEE FUNDING OF ANY KIND. THE ADMISSIONS AND FUNDING PROCESS IS OFTEN ARBITRARY AND ACCORDINGLY IT IS EXPRESSLY AGREED THAT CLEAR LIGHT COLLEGE SUCCESS, INC. IS IN NO WAY LIABLE FOR ANY DECISION MADE BY AN ADMISSIONS COMMITTEE OR FINANCIAL AID OFFICE.
GOVERNING LAW
This User Agreement will be governed by the laws of the California applicable to contracts made and performed there without regard to its conflicts of law principles. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts sitting in the State of California and Orange County, CA, Riverside County, CA and waive any jurisdictional, venue, or inconvenient forum objections to such courts.
TERMINATION
We reserve the right to suspend the Site or your use of the Site or terminate this User Agreement at any time without notice for any reason, including, in the case of the User Agreement, for your violation of any of its provisions. The Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability and Governing Law sections of this User Agreement shall survive any such termination.
WEBSITE PRIVACY POLICY
Clear Light College Success, Inc. (“Clear Light College Success”, “CLCS”) takes your privacy seriously. We know you trust us to help with your college admissions and funding process and we want you to know that you can trust us with your personal information.
WHY WE NEED YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION
Clear Light College Success personalizes your online admissions and funding counseling experience. Accordingly, we need to collect some personal information from you to set up your account with us. Here are some of the things we need your personal information to be able to do:
- Make your counseling sessions more personalized
- Store all of your past sessions and data in the dashboard so you can review them anytime
- Complete your purchases
- Contact you about your account
- Send you newsletters by mail or email about our service
- Ask you for your feedback to help make our service better
Respond to your email requests for information and/or customer service You trust us with your personal information and we do everything we can to make sure your information is safe in our systems. Some things we will NOT do are:
- We WILL NOT sell your personal information to anyone
- We WILL NOT send you promotional mail if you tell us not to You Control Your Personal Information
You can visit the Your Account section of Clear Light College Success anytime to see personal information we have collected about you, and you can tell us if you want to receive any promotional
mail or email from us. If you are under age 13, a law called the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) says that we must have a parent’s permission before we may collect and use your Personal Information. We will need this permission before we are able to create an account for you or provide you with the Clear Light College Success resources. Note to parents if children under the age of 13: You are welcome to call us at 866-670-3388, to review any identifiable information we have collected about your child. If you desire, you may request that we delete this information and/or specify that we collect no more of your child’s information. Please note that we will need to verify the identity of anyone requesting information about a child to ensure that the person is in fact the child’s parent or legal guardian, and that a request for us to delete all personal information about a child requires us to cancel the child’s resources account. We May Share Your Personal Information With Those Who Pay For Your Account.
If your parents/guardians and/or your school pay for or subsidize the cost of your admissions and funding counseling, we may share your personal information with them at their request. This includes the content created by you throughout the Clear Light College Success resources. If you choose not to share certain confidential information that you create within the Clear Light College Success resources with your parents or guardians, we will not share your Personal Information with them. We May Share Your Personal Information For Safety Reasons.
If we have reason to believe that disclosing your Personal Identification is required by law, or is otherwise reasonable to protect someone from possible injury, we may do so. Transfer to the United States If you are located outside of the United States, please note that the personal data you provide to us will be transferred to the United States. Whenever you submit any personal data to us, you consent to this transfer.
COOKIES
Cookies are files that your Web browser puts on your computer when you visit a Web site. We use cookies to tell us how often you visit our site, and what pages you go to on our site. The cookie itself does not have personal information in it, so no one except Clear Light College Success can figure out who you are from our cookie. TERMS AND CONDITIONS TO ACCEPT BEFORE CONFIRMING PURCHASE OF CLEAR LIGHT COLLEGE SUCCESS RESOURCES.
We at Clear Light College Success believe that you have a right to perform at your best, and we are totally committed to helping you get into the colleges of your choice as well as college funding. If you are not satisfied with the Clear Light College Success program within three (3) days of purchasing, contact Clear Light College Success via email (support@clearlightcollegesuccess.com) or phone (866-670-3388). We require a detailed explanation of why you are not satisfied. Write Cancel in the subject of the email and include your detailed explanation and your full name and phone number as well as the package or services you have purchased. You will receive a confirmation email. If you do not receive a confirmation email, please re-contact Clear Light College Success. Only the credit card holder or responsible party may request a cancellation. Your payment will be fully refunded less any funds paid out on you behalf for fundraising. Your login will be deactivated and you will lose the work that you saved in the program. Please allow up to 6 weeks for refunds to be processed. By accepting the terms of the User Agreement, I understand and acknowledge the following:
Clear Light College Success content is for the exclusive use by Clear Light College Success students solely for the purpose of preparing for the college admissions and funding process.
All techniques and course materials, including software and electronic content remain the property of Clear Light College Success, Inc. No information, written or verbal, or any copies of these materials may be distributed to any third parties without the prior written consent of Clear Light College Success.
I have completed the browser check above and understand that the minimum modem requirement is 56K and that MAC users must use Netscape 4.7 running in Classic OS mode to use Clear Light College Success resources online.
I am the responsible party of any Minor who is entering into a program with Clear Light College Success, Inc.
Descriptions of our services and packages are outlined on the “Services” page on our website.
Occasionally, we may add to or change our packages. Packages are subject to change without notice at any time.
