CLCS Go-Team (Self-Guided) – This very affordable Self-Guided Program is tailored for the Student Athlete. It may be used by Freshman through Senior High School Students. (Note: Seniors who have not started any college athletic planning may not benefit from all aspects of the program.)
You will start with a web based career exploration and education planning system for students. Powered by MCP, it is fun, easy to navigate and provides an organized system to help the student plan for their future.
- Self Assessment – Students begin by assessing their interests, values, skills and personality through a series of reliable and valid self assessment instruments.
- Career Exploration – Students research occupations that match their self assessments through a database of over 1200 careers.
- College Search – Students can then research 2 and 4 year colleges and universities which offer the majors needed to obtain their career. The database includes information about tuition, location, athletics and activities, enrollment details and majors.
Your student will research possible majors, careers and colleges that offer those majors. Using the college database in our CLCS Go-Team! Program, the student can begin to match college academics to college athletics
This package includes online access to the “Marketing Student Athletes To Receive College Scholarships” system. You will learn:
- The 6 steps to Marketing the Student Athlete
- The Importance of Academics
- Understanding the Financial Aid System
- Important Follow-Up Procedures including Registering with the NCAA Eligibility Center
- Questions to ask when visiting the college campus.
- Basic rules of the NCAA & NAIA Governing Bodies
You will also have access to downloadable Templates for Student Cover Letter, Student Resume, Coaches Update Report and Tracking System.
The price for the CLCS Go-Team! Program for one year is $197. It can be renewed annually for the low price of $19.97.
Students who are on the CLCS Go-Team Package may add the College Admission Success Self-Guided package at any time for $287 – a savings of $110
